Civil Engineer - Paragon Associates Paragon Associates is seeking a Civil Engineer to join their growing team, supporting a diverse portfolio of commercial, residential, and mixed-use development projects. This role will be heavily involved in site planning, permitting, and project leadership, working across projects ranging from industrial buildings to multi-family developments and waterfront infrastructure. Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Lead and support site planning and land development projects from concept through completion</li><li>Prepare and review full plan sets including grading, drainage, and utility design</li><li>Manage and navigate the permitting process with local municipalities and agencies</li><li>Serve as project lead, coordinating with internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders</li><li>Design and oversee drainage systems and stormwater management solutions</li><li>Support projects involving public infrastructure integration (e.g., sewer/water extensions on private roads)</li><li>Conduct and contribute to flood studies and environmental considerations (e.g., marina projects)</li><li>Work across a variety of asset types including:</li><li class="ql-indent-1">Commercial and industrial buildings</li><li class="ql-indent-1">Hospitality (hotel projects)</li><li class="ql-indent-1">Residential and multi-family (including ~100-unit developments)</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field</li><li>Experience with site development and land planning</li><li>Strong understanding of permitting, zoning, and municipal processes</li><li>Proficiency in engineering design software (e.g., AutoCAD Civil 3D)</li><li>Experience with drainage design and stormwater management</li><li>Ability to manage multiple projects and act in a client-facing/project lead capacity</li></ul>Additional Notes<ul><li>Competitive market for talent (recent candidates receiving offers significantly above market)</li><li>Opportunity to work on diverse, high-impact development projects</li></ul>
