Landscape Architect - Paragon Associates Paragon Associates is seeking a Landscape Architect with strong site planning and land development experience to support a diverse portfolio of projects. This role will play a key part in design, planning, and project coordination, working closely with civil engineers and project teams on commercial, residential, and mixed-use developments. Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Lead and support site planning and landscape design for land development projects</li><li>Prepare and contribute to comprehensive plan sets, including site layout, grading, and design details</li><li>Collaborate with civil engineering teams on drainage and stormwater management integration</li><li>Assist in navigating the permitting and entitlement process with local agencies</li><li>Serve as a project lead or key contributor, coordinating with clients, consultants, and internal teams</li><li>Contribute to site feasibility studies and conceptual design</li><li>Support projects across a range of asset types, including:</li><li class="ql-indent-1">Commercial and industrial developments</li><li class="ql-indent-1">Hospitality (hotel projects)</li><li class="ql-indent-1">Residential and multi-family (including large-scale apartment developments)</li><li class="ql-indent-1">Infrastructure-related projects (e.g., sewer/water coordination, marina and flood study support)</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture or related field</li><li>Professional licensure (or progress toward licensure) preferred</li><li>Strong experience in site planning and land development</li><li>Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and/or landscape design software</li><li>Working knowledge of grading, drainage, and site design principles</li><li>Familiarity with permitting, zoning, and municipal processes</li><li>Ability to manage multiple projects and work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment</li></ul>Compensation<ul><li>$85K, depending on experience</li></ul>Additional Notes<ul><li>Ideal for candidates with a hybrid background in landscape architecture and site/civil planning</li><li>Opportunity to work on diverse, high-impact development projects</li><li>Strong collaboration with engineering teams and exposure to full project lifecycle</li></ul>
